Regular cleans, careful checkups.
A scale and clean, full oral exam, and a clear explanation of what we find. Six-monthly visits are how small problems get caught before they become large ones.

Dental cleans and checkups in Cranbourne North.
Most dental problems don’t announce themselves. Decay forms slowly. Gum disease develops quietly. A regular checkup is how we stay ahead of both โ finding what’s forming before it needs real work.
What’s involved
Every appointment includes a full oral exam, scale and clean, and a clear run-through of what we find. We check teeth, gums, and soft tissue โ including an oral cancer screening at every visit. X-rays are taken when there’s a clinical reason, not automatically. Where a photo helps explain what we’re seeing, we’ll show you on screen.
We use the iTero Lumina 3D scanner and digital clinical photography as standard. You see what we see โ which means you leave understanding your mouth, not just trusting us about it.
Who it’s for
Anyone who wants to stay on top of their dental health. Patients due for their six-monthly check. New patients establishing care for the first time. Families looking for one clinic that sees kids and adults in the same visit. Patients who haven’t been in a while and want to know where things stand without being made to feel bad about it.
What to expect at your visit
The appointment takes around 45 to 60 minutes. We start with the exam, then the clean, then a clear explanation of everything we found โ what’s healthy, what we’re watching, and what needs attention. If we find something that needs treatment, we’ll explain what it is, why it matters, and what the options are before anything is scheduled.
Nothing is started without your understanding and agreement.
Costs and payment plans
Fees depend on what’s needed and your level of private health cover. Most funds contribute to the cost of a checkup and clean. We process health fund claims on the spot via HICAPS. Not sure what you’re covered for? Call us before you come in and we’ll check for you.
What patients usually ask before booking.
Every six months for most people. More often if you have active gum disease, orthodontic appliances, a history of decay, or a high caries risk. We’ll tell you what applies at your first visit.
For most patients, no. If your gums are inflamed or it’s been a while since your last clean, you may feel some sensitivity โ this settles quickly. We work at your pace and explain what we’re doing as we go.
It depends on what’s needed and your private health fund.
Usually between $200-$350. W/O health fund, but for our preferred providers its usually free.

Not automatically. We take x-rays when there’s a clinical reason โ a new patient baseline, suspected decay between teeth, or something that needs a closer look. We’ll always tell you why before we take them.
We’ll tell you exactly what we found, what it means, and what the options are. Some things need attention soon. Others can be monitored. We’ll be clear about which is which โ and nothing gets scheduled without your understanding first.
