What’s involved
Porcelain veneers are thin shells of Emax ceramic — approximately 0.3 to 0.5mm thick — bonded to the front surface of the tooth. Emax is chosen for its optical properties: it refracts light the way natural enamel does, producing a depth and translucency that composite cannot fully replicate.
Every case begins with facially generated treatment planning. Tooth size, shape, and colour are designed in relation to your lip line, facial midline, and facial proportions — not selected from a catalogue. This is the same methodology used by the world’s leading restorative clinicians, and it is the reason some veneers look like teeth while others look like veneers.
Before any tooth is prepared, we complete a smile trial — temporary composite applied directly over your existing teeth so you can see, feel, and evaluate the proposed result in your own mouth. You confirm the shape before anything is irreversible.
Veneers require a small amount of enamel removal from the front surface — typically 0.3 to 0.5mm. We prepare as conservatively as the case allows. Biology must be stable before any veneer is placed: active gum disease, decay, or an unstable bite will compromise the result and must be addressed first.

The process takes a minimum of three appointments: consultation and smile trial, tooth preparation and temporary veneers, and final fitting and bonding. The temporary phase allows you to evaluate the shape and proportions before the final veneers are fabricated. The final appointment involves precise shade-matching and bonding under controlled conditions. You leave with the result you confirmed in the trial.

Porcelain veneers range from $1,400 to $1,600 per tooth. All fees are confirmed in writing before treatment begins. Interest-free payment plans are available. Private health funds generally do not cover porcelain veneers. We process any applicable claims on the spot via HICAPS.
