Principal dentist · Founder

Dr Lawrence Pawar

Dr. Lawrence Pawar is the principal dentist and owner of Aura Dentists Cranbourne North. He holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours and certification in Fixed Prosthodontics through International College of Dental Practioners , and is currently completing a Diploma in Implantology through GIDE Implant Education.

Lawrence took over Aura Dentists from his mother — who originally founded the clinic — with one clear intention: to practice dentistry more transparently than what was standard. He describes his approach as diffusing knowledge: breaking down the barrier between clinical expertise and patient understanding so people can make genuinely informed decisions about their own health.

His clinical interests sit at the complex end of dentistry. He has a strong focus on full mouth rehabilitation, dental implants — including cases requiring bone and soft tissue grafting — and cosmetic work planned using facially generated treatment planning. He is a Platinum Invisalign provider and carries out early prevention orthodontics for children aged 6 to 11. He holds training in oral-facial myology and is a member of the Spear Study Club, a continuing education network for restorative and cosmetic clinicians.

Lawrence has a particular interest in patients who have been avoiding the dentist for years. His approach with anxious patients is consistent: explain everything before it happens, work at the patient’s pace, and never rush a procedure because it’s convenient to. Nitrous oxide is available for patients who need extra support. Many of his patients describe coming in dreading the chair — and leaving without that dread. He considers this one of the more meaningful parts of the work.

Associate dentist

Dr Chloe Chandraraj

Dr. Chloe Chandraraj is an associate dentist at Aura Dentists Cranbourne North, where her clinical focus is early prevention orthodontics and general dentistry. She studied dentistry at La Trobe University in Bendigo.

Her interest in early intervention grew from seeing firsthand how much harder orthodontic problems become once a child’s growth window has closed — and how straightforward many of those same problems are to address while it’s still open.

Chloe works with Invisalign First and bio-block expanders to assess jaw development, airway function, and bite patterns in children aged 6 to 11. She is not a specialist orthodontist — she is a general dentist with a genuine clinical interest in this area and additional clear aligner training completed in New Zealand. She works closely alongside Dr. Lawrence on early prevention cases, assessing the full picture: teeth, airways, facial development, and oral habits.
