We extract simple single-rooted teeth, partially erupted and fully impacted wisdom teeth, and teeth positioned close to the inferior alveolar nerve. For complex cases, we use 3D CBCT imaging to map the root structure and nerve position precisely before proceeding.
After every extraction, we place Gelatemp — a hemostatic agent — in the socket to control bleeding and support blood clot formation. The blood clot that forms after extraction is essential to proper healing. Where needed, we use resorbable sutures that dissolve as the socket heals. For cases that develop granulation tissue or require additional management, we address this at the follow-up — at no extra charge.
We also focus on preserving the buccal bone — the outer wall of the tooth socket. This structure is critical for future implant placement. Once lost, it requires bone grafting to restore. A conservative extraction approach protects it where possible, keeping your replacement options open.

What to expect at your visit
We assess the tooth with X-rays before proceeding. For complex extractions, a 3D CBCT scan gives us a precise map of root structure and nerve position. The extraction is performed under local anaesthetic — you’ll feel pressure but not pain. Nitrous oxide (happy gas) is available for patients who are anxious or want additional comfort.
After the extraction, we give you clear instructions for protecting the blood clot and managing the first 48 hours. We check on you as part of the process — and if anything isn’t settling, come back in. Follow-up palliative care is included at no extra cost.

We’ll give you the exact fee before anything starts. Private health funds with extras cover typically contribute toward the cost. We process health fund claims on the spot via HICAPS.
